These figures are from the Early Expansionist Period including the Greek and Persian Wars .
The Achaemenid Persian Empire was founded by Cyrus the Great in 550 BC.
At its height extending to India in the East , Northern Greece in the West and Eygpt to the South.
Following the Greeco-Persian Wars around 480-490 BC it began to decline until defeated by Alexander in 330BC.
